DESCRIPTION:https://www.w3.org/events/meetings/af242c02-5463-4aea-9203-7b26
16111a6e/\n\nWe want to make it easy for you to add features that enhance
and deepen the accessibility of the platform on a document level. There ar
e a number of existing and forthcoming to support you in this.\n\nIn this
session\, we’ll share with you some recent updates to several of these r
esources\, as well as details on further enhancements we’re working on.
Most importantly\, we want to get your feedback\, to ensure that the work
will help you out.\n\nA full agenda is given separately\, but at the highe
 st level\, we’ll cover the following\, before having a group discussion\
, so we can answer your questions and get your feedback:\n\n* Recent and p
lanned ease-of-use improvements to the horizontal review process for acces
sibility - including the need for early help and support\, and how we’re
making it easier for you to request that.\n\n* What exactly the Accessibl
e Platform Architectures (APA) WG can provide you with in reviews\; where
that advice comes from\; and how you and the review process might contribu
te to it.\n\n* A new\, more concrete\, direction for the Framework for Acc
essibility in the Specification of Technologies (FAST)\, which aims to red
uce the amount of things that come up in review\, by supporting you in wri
ting specs that consider\, promote\, and enhance accessibility from the ou
tset.\n\nCredit to Peter Korn for the ‘building it in vs. bolting it on
’ concept.\n\n**Goal(s):**\nTo update people on improvements to accessib
ility horizontal review that have been made\, and are planned\, and to get
  feedback on them.\n\nAgenda\n\n* Short presentation\n\n - Myths around t
he horizontal review process.\n - Getting review earlier\, and making the
  process easier.\n - How the pieces fit together: TAG\, FAST\, APA\, othe
rs\, and where our guidance comes from.\n - Speeding up: How FAST is bein
 g retooled.\n\n* Group discussion. Suggested topics:\n\n - Answering ques
tions about the current process\, and recent changes.\n - What you need f
rom resources like the FAST.\n - Collecting your feedback\, and giving yo
u options for providing more.\n - How we could use your help\, and your o
 rganization’s help.\n\n**Materials:**\n- [recording](https://www.w3.org/
