DESCRIPTION:https://www.w3.org/events/meetings/aaf35157-20e5-47f8-91a7-2db3
8aeb3cfc/\n\nThe Agent Network Protocol (ANP) is an open-source communicat
ion protocol for AI Agents\, aiming to become the “HTTP of the Agentic W
eb era.” Its ultimate vision is to build an efficient\, secure\, and ope
n network for agent collaboration. ANP seeks to break down data and agent
silos by adopting open\, interoperable standards that enable cross-platfor
 m identity authentication\, discovery\, and interaction between agents.\n\
nBuilt upon W3C standards such as DID (Decentralized Identifiers)\, Verifi
able Credentials\, and JSON-LD\, ANP defines how agents publish their iden
tities\, describe their capabilities\, and establish secure communication
channels for data exchange and task collaboration.\n\nThis session will in
troduce the core design principles of ANP and explain how it differs from
emerging protocols such as A2A (Google) and MCP (Anthropic).\n\nANP Open S

rotocol\n\n**Goal(s):**\nIntroduction to the Design and Implementation of
the ANP Protocol\n\nAgenda\n\n* Introduce our perspective on the Agentic W
eb and explain why protocols are essential to its development.\n* Present
the architecture\, design\, and implementation of the ANP.\n* Explain the
differences between ANP\, MCP\, and A2A.\n* Introduce the agent network we
are building — a developing network of interconnected agents.\n\n**Mate
