DESCRIPTION:https://www.w3.org/events/meetings/708306ba-18f3-4284-a93a-ecd5
060a5ecd/\n\nThis session will explore the findings and user needs describ
ed in a working draft note of four research modules published in February
2026 by the Cognitive and Learning Disabilities (COGA) Task Force.\n\nThe
research modules are primarily intended for groups in the World Wide Web C
onsortium (W3C) that may want to include our use cases or understand the t
opics from a broader perspective. \n\nThey may also contain useful inform
ation for:\n* researchers\,\n* inclusion and research-related policy maker
s\,\n* designers\, content creators\, and developers who wish to have a mo
re in-depth understanding of inclusion issues.\n\nThe session will review
the following modules:\n* [Voice Systems and Conversational Interfaces](ht
 tps://www.w3.org/TR/2026/DNOTE-coga-voice-20260205/): This module covers i
ssues that our users face when using conversational voice systems\, includ
ing voice menu systems\, voice user interfaces\, and voice AI assistants.\
 n* [Technology-Assisted Indoor Navigation and Wayfinding](https://www.w3.o
rg/TR/2026/DNOTE-coga-wayfinding-20260205/): This module is about technolo
gy that helps users who need cognitive accessibility support navigate indo
or spaces\, also known as wayfinding.\n* [Online Safety and Wellbeing (Alg
 orithms and Data)](https://www.w3.org/TR/2026/DNOTE-coga-safety-20260205/)
: People with disabilities that require cognitive accessibility support fa
ce a number of risks when using the internet and apps. This module covers
safety issues that our users face on the internet including cybercrime\, m
 ental health\, wellbeing\, privacy\, and more.\n* [Supported Decision-Maki
 ng Online](https://www.w3.org/TR/2026/DNOTE-coga-sdm-20260205/): This modu
le describes the advantages and risks of supporting Supported Decision-Mak
ing (SDM). It offers suggestions for safely supporting SDM online\, helpin
g more people take part in the digital world while keeping their dignity a
nd independence.\n\n**Link to slide deck:** [https://docs.google.com/prese

 ttps://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1hy0iPkqWKxN_8xI5UIAWPk7We9nk44DDb61
8pzDQzOw/edit?usp=sharing)\n\n**Goal(s):**\n- **Raise awareness** of the c
ognitive accessibility related issues identified in the drafts. \n- **Disc
uss user needs and barriers** influenced by issues such as cognitive load\
, memory\, social reasoning\, and mental health.\n- **Explore practical so
lutions.**\n- **Collect community feedback** on what may be missing in the
draft modules\, such as user scenarios\, technology\, user needs\, or res
earch.\n- **Identify opportunities for cross-group collaboration** within
 W3C groups (e.g.\, COGA TF\, APA WG\, AG WG\, and other relevant groups).\
 n\nAgenda\n\n1. **Today's Goals and COGA Background (5 minutes)** \n2. **C
OGA's Research Modules (25 minutes):** This will include examples of user
needs and challenges as well as possible solutions and other relevant W3C
work. \n3. **Questions and Feedback (20 minutes):** Discuss opportunities
to enhance this draft note\, explore new areas for research\, and collabor
ate with other W3C teams on standards and research work.\n4. **Wrap-up and
Next Steps (10 minutes):** Summarize key takeaways and outline follow-up
 actions or collaborations.\n\n**Materials:**\n- [minutes](https://www.w3.o
