DESCRIPTION:https://www.w3.org/events/meetings/30a1dfca-137f-421d-ab77-3ec9
8f13e3f2/\n\nThrough a more systematic approach to open source software (O
SS)\, W3C can have a variety of positive impacts on the Web\, including in
 teroperability gains\, an accelerated incubation-to-adoption pipeline\, in
creased resilience of the Web through sustained support for critical code
resources\, and more widely adopted code that aligns with W3C’s mission
and values. The [Structural Evolution Initiative Task Force](https://www.w
3.org/Member/initiatives/structural-evolution/) has been discussing this t
opic for several months\, and the staff plans to present in plenary some o
f their ideas for taking a more systematic approach to integrating open so
urce software projects in W3C. This breakout session is for structured dis
cussion within the Membership about questions\, concerns\, and support.\n\
n**Goal(s):**\nSeek feedback and questions on an open source software prog
