UDNA enables identity-native communication, privacy-preserving routing, and secure self-sovereign interactions across decentralized systems. Through UDNA, this group aims to unlock secure, decentralized, and privacy-preserving communications at scale, laying the foundation for the next generation of Internet-native identities.<\/p>\n\n<p>Scope:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Defining UDNA specifications for DID-based network addressing.<\/li>\n<li>Developing protocols for secure, verifiable, and rotatable identity resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Exploring integration with existing Internet protocols and decentralized networks.<\/li>\n<li>Enabling zero-trust and capability-based access control models.<\/li>\n<li>Investigating privacy-preserving communication and anti-abuse mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li>Providing reference implementations and interoperability guidance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Expected Outcomes:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>A set of specifications and guidelines for UDNA adoption.Reference architectures and implementation examples.\n<\/li><li>Recommendations for integrating identity-native addressing into decentralized applications and protocols.<\/li>\n<li>A community of researchers, developers, and organizations collaborating on identity-native networking technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n<p>\n    You are invited to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/groups\/proposed\/#did-native-addr\">support the creation of this group<\/a>.\n    Once the group has a total of 5 supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work.
