The Audio Description Community Group has been proposed by Nigel Megitt:<\/p>\n
Mission: To create an open standard file format to support audio description all the way from scripting to mixing.<\/p>\n
Scope: To agree requirements and propose a workable open standard file format for audio description, probably a profile of TTML2, with the intention of moving to the Rec track within a Working Group.<\/p>\n

* Requirements document

\n* Explainer<\/p>\n
You are invited to support the creation of this group<\/a>. Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work.
