The Public Alert Community Group has been proposed by Jacob Pratt:<\/p>\n

The Public Alert CG aims to establish specifications for a regional or global network that can send urgent information to any connected device. PALCG will improve upon US’s WEA and intends to implement a similar system globally.<\/p>\n

\n

You are invited to support the creation of this group<\/a>. Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work. In order to support the group, you will need a W3C account<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Once launched, the group will no longer be listed as “proposed”; it will be in the list of current groups<\/a>.<\/p>\n
