The MULTI-POS CG bridges the W3C community and the MULTI-POS Marie Curie Initial Training Network.<\/p>\n<p>The MULTI-POS CG has the following goals: 1) Identify business and technology application scenarios based on the new positioning methods; 2) Specify the key technological, scientific, and industrial elements and their relationships in the new positioning ecosystem; and 3) Identify standardization opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The first concrete work item is a review of the current state of the art, providing a common framework of reference for future work.<\/p>\n<p>What is the benefit (for you): Meet the professionals, get the big picture, have influence on use cases and requirements, get cited.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In order to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/multi-pos\/join\">join the group<\/a>, you will need a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/account\/request\">W3C account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2013-09-04 by Ossi Nyk\u00e4nen. The following people supported its creation: Ossi Nyk\u00e4nen, Luis Baus\u00e1 L\u00f3pez, Pedro Silva, Alejandro Rivero Rodriguez, Gonzalo Seco-Granados.
