A new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.springer.com\/gp\/book\/9783319658391\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">handbook<\/a> on media synchronization has just recently been published on Springer.\u00a0Nj\u00e5l T. Borch, Francois Daoust and myself were asked to contribute a chapter based on our research in this domain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/chapter\/10.1007\/978-3-319-65840-7_17\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Media Synchronization on the Web<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The chapter explains how to do media synchronization on the Web, and how media synchronization done correctly is the key enabler for a new and highly attractive media model for multi-device, timed Web media.<\/p>\n<p>I also think this chapter is the most comprehensive introduction to the ideas and proposals put forward through the Multi-device Timing CG at this point.<\/p>\n<p>The author version of this chapter is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/webtiming\/files\/2018\/05\/arntzen_mediasync_web_author_edition.pdf\">here<\/a>.
