As described in its <a title=\"Charter of the Second Screen Presentation Working Group\" href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2014\/secondscreen\/charter.html\">charter<\/a>, the mission of the Working Group is to take the Presentation API specification along the Recommendation track up to its final publication as a Web\u00a0standard.<\/p>\n<p>To ease the transition and provide a concrete starting point for the Working Group, the Community Group published <a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2014\/secondscreen\/presentation-api\/20141118\/\">an updated version of the Presentation API<\/a> as final report yesterday. This report\u00a0includes\u00a0the outcomes of recent\u00a0discussions within the Community Group while the Working Group was being created.<\/p>\n<p>The Community Group will now cease its work\u00a0on the Presentation API specification and let the Working Group take it from there.\u00a0Please note that the Community Group remains active though!
