In principle any\u00a0<em>Place<\/em>\u00a0can be a\u00a0<em>TouristDestination<\/em>\u00a0from a\u00a0<em>City<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Region<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>Country<\/em>\u00a0to an\u00a0<em>AmusementPark<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>Hotel<\/em>. This Type can be used on its own to describe a general\u00a0<em>TourstDestination<\/em>, or be used as an\u00a0<em>additionalType<\/em>\u00a0to add tourist relevant properties to any other\u00a0<em>Place<\/em>. A\u00a0<em>TouristDestination<\/em>\u00a0is defined as a\u00a0<em>Place<\/em>\u00a0that contains, or is colocated with, one or more\u00a0<em>TourstAttractions<\/em>, often linked by a similar theme or interest to particular a\u00a0<em>touristType<\/em>. The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www2.unwto.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">UNWTO<\/a>\u00a0defines Destination (main destination of a tourism trip) as the place visited that is central to the decision to take the trip.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subtype of: Place<\/li>\n<li>Property:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/touristType\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">touristType<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Property:\u00a0<strong>includesAttraction<\/strong>\u00a0(new property): Attraction located at destination. [Expected types:\u00a0<em>TouristAttraction<\/em>,\u00a0<em>TouristDestiation<\/em>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TouristTrip<\/strong>\u00a0A tourist trip &#8211; a created itinerary of visits to one or more places of interest (<em>TouristAttraction<\/em>\/<em>TouristDestination<\/em>) often linked by a similar theme, geographic area, or interest to a particular\u00a0<em>touristType<\/em>. The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www2.unwto.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">UNWTO<\/a>\u00a0defines tourism trip as the Trip taken by visitors<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subtype of: CreativeWork<\/li>\n<li>Property:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/touristType\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">touristType<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Property:\u00a0<strong>itinerary<\/strong>\u00a0(new property): Destination(s) that make up a trip.
