{"id":22,"date":"2017-09-15T15:20:41","date_gmt":"2017-09-15T15:20:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/tourismdata\/?p=22"},"modified":"2017-09-15T15:20:41","modified_gmt":"2017-09-15T15:20:41","slug":"initial-proposal-accepted-and-published-by-schema-org","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/tourismdata\/2017\/09\/15\/initial-proposal-accepted-and-published-by-schema-org\/","title":{"rendered":"Initial proposal accepted and published by Schema.org"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest <a href=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/docs\/releases.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">release<\/a> of Schema.org (v3.3) appeared last month and it includes the proposals this group submitted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enhancements to the <a href=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/TouristAttraction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">TouristAttraction<\/a> type with the <a href=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/availableLanguage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">availableLanguage<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/touristType\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">touristType<\/a> properties.\n<p>As can be seen from the significant set of examples, combining this type with others (eg. Museum, Event, AmusementPark, etc) enables the description of most anything as to be of interest to a tourist.<\/li>\n<li>The addition of the <a href=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/publicAccess\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">publicAccess<\/a> property to the <a href=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Place\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Place<\/a> type<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Great progress &#8211; let the group know if and when you see on and apply this to tourist sites.<\/p>\n<p>Onward, we are now thinking about what might be next &#8211; suggestions\/proposals welcome!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest release of Schema.org (v3.3) appeared last month and it includes the proposals this group submitted: Enhancements to the TouristAttraction type with the availableLanguage and touristType properties.
