Hi all,<\/span><\/p>\n

one of my students, Elisabetta Triolo, is working on a proposal of a host extension for the TouristAttraction class of Schema.org.<\/span><\/p>\n

She studied the structure of some important tourism platforms such as<\/span> TripAdvisor<\/span><\/i><\/a>,<\/span> ParisInfo<\/span><\/i><\/a>,<\/span> Gogobot<\/span><\/i><\/a>, and she tried to define what a tourist attraction is, by reading information and publications such as the<\/span> Wikipedia definition<\/span><\/a>, the Lorenzo Canova\u2019s<\/span> study of attractions<\/span><\/a>, Lucia Varra\u2019s<\/span> article<\/span><\/a> about tourist destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

The whole extension has been <\/span>published <\/b>here<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, an <\/span>owl version <\/b>of the extension is available<\/span> here<\/span><\/a> and it\u2019s possible to find an explanation of the project <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s important for us to have feedback from the community, in order to improve the structure of the class and its subclasses, and, hopefully, add this as an host extension of the Schema.org project.<\/span><\/p>\n
