{"id":46,"date":"2012-03-13T18:07:52","date_gmt":"2012-03-13T18:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/socbizcg\/?page_id=46"},"modified":"2012-05-07T18:38:44","modified_gmt":"2012-05-07T22:38:44","slug":"social-platform-definition","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/socbizcg\/social-platform-definition\/","title":{"rendered":"Social platform definition"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>One of the \u201cnext steps\u201d of the W3C Social Business Jam report is defining key terminology such as Social Platform.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome of the group is to create use cases under Social domains (user stories focused on using social technologies to achieve a predefined outcome).<\/p>\n<p>If the use cases are somehow linked, despite agnostic, of technology used to socialized, it\u2019s important before move forward to achieve to a definition of what is a Social Platform.<\/p>\n<p>Definitions matter to everyone. If the group cannot agree what a Social Platform is all about, how it\u2019s possible to progress on the use case backing?<\/p>\n<p>This definition can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be imported from other community is it is already available;<\/li>\n<li>Be imported and adapted to the community needs;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Be architected from the scratch by the group members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The idea is starting brainstorming around the concept.
