href=\"http:\/\/www.campus-party.eu\/2012\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">CampusParty Berlin<\/a> where an excellent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=n457lr_R8YE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">keynote <\/a>was delivered by timbl.\u00a0 From my <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.w3.org\/Archives\/Public\/public-rww\/2012Aug\/0089.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">notes<\/a>, there seemed to be some excitement about the maturing of the Open Web Platform, HTML5, and encouragement to deploy apps to the Web, and become &#8220;part of the discourse of humanity&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>A happy birthday is in order, as W3C Community Groups (including this one) celebrate their first birthday!\u00a0 The W3C is accepting feedback in general, so if you have comments please take time to fill in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/blog\/2012\/08\/01\/community-and-business-groups-the-first-year\/\">questionnaire<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite holiday season, there has been some productive discussion on hot topics of delegation, access control and the application space.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/wiki\/images\/f\/fe\/Rww-logo-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Communications and Outreach<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>RWW Community Group welcomes new members, including Manu Sporny, chair of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/webpayments\/\">W3C Payments Group<\/a>, and also the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deri.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">DERI institute<\/a>, the European powerhouse partially behind LOD2, and many other linked data projects.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/06\/rdf.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/06\/rdf.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"106\" height=\"109\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Community Group<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Thanks to Sebastian Tramp, Henry Story, Andrei Sambra and others for putting forth an excellent <a href=\"http:\/\/bblfish.net\/tmp\/2012\/08\/05\/WebID_Delegation.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">paper<\/a> on Delegation.\u00a0 Much to be digested there as the conversation advances.<\/p>\n<p>Great work also from bergi on <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.w3.org\/Archives\/Public\/public-rww\/2012Aug\/0070.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Triple Access Control and UAC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/08\/doodle-jump.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-154\" src=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/08\/doodle-jump-224x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/08\/doodle-jump-224x300.png 224w, https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/08\/doodle-jump.png 419w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Applications<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A very early proof of concept for a <a href=\"http:\/\/webappmarket.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Web Application Market<\/a> is released which will hopefully help to : showcase apps, allow payments and let users add more functionality to their existing social nets.\u00a0 The dev payswarm system is already integrated via the wordpress plugin and it&#8217;s possible to pay for apps as a proof of concept.\u00a0 More work to be done on this shortly.<\/p>\n<p>MyProfile as also announced the first version of its <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.w3.org\/Archives\/Public\/public-rww\/2012Aug\/0044.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">REST API<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And just for fun I made a little post about how you can webize an simple HTML5 app, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/lists.w3.org\/Archives\/Public\/public-rww\/2012Aug\/0088.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">doodle jump<\/a>&#8220;, with just a few lines of code.<\/p>\n<h1><a href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/08\/crypto-stick.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-155\" src=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/08\/crypto-stick-300x137.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"137\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/08\/crypto-stick-300x137.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/rww\/files\/2012\/08\/crypto-stick.jpg 346w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/h1>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Last but not least&#8230;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Great work from the team at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crypto-stick.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">crypto stick<\/a> who have created an open source hardware solution to allow secure login via PKI to Outlook, TrueCrypt, Thunderbird, Evolution, GnuPG.\u00a0 As X.509 is now supported, that means it&#8217;s possible to log in via a hardware dongle using your WebID.\u00a0 Looking forward to seeing the first demos of
