OpenRefine&#8217;s reconciliation API is used as a starting point. Our goals are to document this existing API, share our experiences and lessons learnt from it, propose an improved protocol in the view of promoting it as a standard, and build tooling around it.<\/p>\n<p>A description of the existing protocol can be found here:<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/github.com\/OpenRefine\/OpenRefine\/wiki\/Reconciliation-Service-API<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In order to <a href=\"\/community\/reconciliation\/join\">join the group<\/a>, you will need a <a href=\"\/accounts\/request\">W3C account<\/a>. Please note, however, that <a href=\"\/community\/about\/faq\/#is-w3c-membership-required-to-participate-in-a-community-or-business-group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">W3C Membership<\/a> is not required to join a Community Group.<\/p>\n<p>This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2019-06-08 by Antonin Delpeuch. The following people supported its creation: Antonin Delpeuch, Ettore Rizza, Owen Stephens, Juliane Schneider, Ethan Gruber, Thad Guidry, Christina Harlow, Markus Mandalka.
