The Open Cloud Mesh Community Group<\/a> has been launched!<\/p>\n

This community group is equivalent to the loose “Open Cloud Mesh” collaboration, currently hosted as part of the CS3<\/a> Organization.<\/p>\n

As of September 2023, work on OCM is co-funded by NLnet<\/a>, CERN<\/a>, and individual implementers.<\/p>\n

By creating this W3C CG we want to make our ongoing work more visible to the wider web standards community.<\/p>\n

Brief history<\/em><\/p>\n

This initiative started within individual vendors such as ownCloud<\/a>, then moved to G\u00e9ant<\/a>.
\nSince 2020 it found a home within the CS3 community<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n

In order to join the group<\/a>, you will need a W3C account<\/a>. Please note, however, that W3C Membership<\/a> is not required to join a Community Group.<\/p>\n

This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2023-09-21 by Michiel de Jong. The following people supported its creation: Michiel de Jong, Rachel Yager, Giuseppe Lo Presti, Mahdi Baghbani, Gianmaria Del Monte. W3C’s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.<\/p>\n
