Please provide your feedback of your available\u00a0time on doodle: <a href=\"https:\/\/doodle.com\/poll\/8acwbp9598uifqgi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/doodle.com\/poll\/8acwbp9598uifqgi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>(If you have any questions, please contact: <a href=\"mailto:juntao.pjt@alibaba-inc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">juntao.pjt@alibaba-inc.com )<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Introduction of native app gesture and <em>Gesture Events<\/em> in web<\/h3>\n<p>Smartphone OS normally have Touch and Gesture as a way to interact with users.<\/p>\n<p>Touch function is used to capture the information of touch events \uff08e.g. the position of the touch point etc.\uff09happening on the screen.<\/p>\n<p>Gesture function is used to specify users\u2019 more complex interactive operation with screen, such as pinching, rotating, swiping, double-tapping and so on.<\/p>\n<p>Although Touch is supported by many platforms and the touch events model has been defined in the W3C Touch\u00a0Events specification [1], Gesture are not widely\u00a0supported\u00a0currently.<\/p>\n<p>Nowadays, gesture events are widely used in web. However, web developers can only use Touch Events to implement gesture functionalities. They may have to develop multiple versions of gesture events in order to adapt different browsers due to the lack of gesture events standard in web. Thus, web developers always choose to implement the gesture events by importing external toolkits when they start a new web project.
