{"id":737,"date":"2024-03-28T23:38:17","date_gmt":"2024-03-28T23:38:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/music-notation\/?p=737"},"modified":"2024-03-28T23:38:20","modified_gmt":"2024-03-28T23:38:20","slug":"co-chair-meeting-minutes-march-28-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/music-notation\/2024\/03\/28\/co-chair-meeting-minutes-march-28-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Co-chair meeting minutes: March 28, 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MNX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Adrian has improved the doc generator system to handle enumerations (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/w3c\/mnx\/issues\/321\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">issue #321<\/a>), and the automatically generated JSON schema now also includes this information, so that all the allowable values for string-based types are specified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were a couple of JSON objects that didn&#8217;t have enumerations defined, so Adrian has added them where it was simple to do so. A couple of issues remain where the intent is to use the values from MusicXML, but Adrian hasn&#8217;t yet gone ahead and brought those values over; this will be done soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Myke suggested that we should probably prefer lower camel case rather than using hyphens to separate multi-word enum values, as this maps more cleanly onto the default enum types in languages like Javascript and Python.
