Some of the approaches use the new layouts system in MNX more than others, and the choice of proposal will probably come down to a decision about how much or little we want to use this system. The co-chairs discussed whether or not it is a requirement for multi-bar rests to have different configurations within the same part in different scenarios (using the same part in different layouts), and determined that this was not a requirement, which means that any of the proposals could be used.
