{"id":264,"date":"2019-07-17T01:43:55","date_gmt":"2019-07-17T01:43:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/music-notation\/?p=264"},"modified":"2019-07-17T01:44:00","modified_gmt":"2019-07-17T01:44:00","slug":"co-chair-meeting-minutes-july-16-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/music-notation\/2019\/07\/17\/co-chair-meeting-minutes-july-16-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Co-Chair Meeting Minutes: July 16, 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MNX-Common by Example<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Adrian&#8217;s colleague Edward has made a responsive design for the MNX-Common by Example page, <a href=\"https:\/\/adrianholovaty.github.io\/music-notation-formats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">which looks good<\/a>. The next steps are to merge this page to the MNX repository, and then to expand with further examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Splitting MNX-Common and MNX-Generic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Adrian didn&#8217;t create a pull request for splitting MNX-Common and MNX-Generic, but has now done so: <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/w3c\/mnx\/pull\/157\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">pull request #157<\/a> exists to do this. We&#8217;ll give the community a week for any feedback on the pull request before we merge it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAISY Braille music working group<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Haipeng Hu, representing the DAISY Braille music working group, has joined the community group and has raised a couple of new issues in the MNX repository, <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/w3c\/mnx\/issues\/155\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">#155<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/w3c\/mnx\/issues\/156\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">#156<\/a>. The co-chairs have triaged the issues and assigned them to the MNX-Common v1.0 milestone. We welcome any feedback from the community on the requirements expressed in these two issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael said that he will also consider and respond to Haipeng&#8217;s issue <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/w3c\/musicxmlissues\/286\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">#<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/w3c\/musicxml\/issues\/286\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">286<\/a> in the MusicXML repository in due course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MNX-Common issues under active review<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The co-chairs also discussed the issues under <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/w3c\/mnx\/labels\/Active%20Review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">active review<\/a> in the MNX-Common repository. All of them are currently waiting for Adrian&#8217;s proposals in response to community feedback on the issues of layouts and  and he proposes that he will fold those proposals into the MNX-Common by Example page in due course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next meeting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The next meeting of the co-chairs will be on Tuesday 30 July 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MNX-Common by Example Adrian&#8217;s colleague Edward has made a responsive design for the MNX-Common by Example page, which looks good.
