This is done (1) by creating a common and open standard vocabulary for accessibility and (2) by providing a central place for the web community to discuss issues around physical accessibility data. (3) This group may publish Specifications based on the outcome of (1) and (2).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In order to <a href=\"\/community\/lda\/join\">join the group<\/a>, you will need a <a href=\"\/accounts\/request\">W3C account<\/a>. Please note, however, that <a href=\"\/community\/about\/faq\/#is-w3c-membership-required-to-participate-in-a-community-or-business-group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">W3C Membership<\/a> is not required to join a Community Group.<\/p>\n<p>This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2020-03-27 by Bj\u00f6rn Uhlig. The following people supported its creation: Bj\u00f6rn Uhlig, Holger Dieterich, Ted Guild, Shadi Abou-Zahra, Sebastian Felix Zappe. W3C&#8217;s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.<\/p>\n<p>The group must now <a href=\"\/community\/about\/faq\/#how-do-we-choose-a-chair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">choose a chair<\/a>.
