{"id":337,"date":"2020-07-16T16:01:11","date_gmt":"2020-07-16T16:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/?p=337"},"modified":"2020-10-23T07:46:41","modified_gmt":"2020-10-23T07:46:41","slug":"exchange-accessibility-information-on-the-web","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/2020\/07\/16\/exchange-accessibility-information-on-the-web\/","title":{"rendered":"Exchange Accessibility Information on the Web"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In this weeks call the members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/\">W3C LBD CG <\/a>were happy to have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAAABXPrYB6XVL9uvRwAiDDRF2v6GBy4G70oY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Holger Dieterich<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/opyh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Sebastian Felix Zappe <\/a>from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lda\/\">W3C LDA CG <\/a>as guests presenting an amazing effort towards using digital technologies to easen the daily life of people with <a href=\"https:\/\/wheelmap.org\/search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">reduced mobility by distributing accessibility information on the web<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-rounded\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/files\/2020\/07\/Anmerkung-2020-07-16-172919.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-338\" width=\"485\" height=\"242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/files\/2020\/07\/Anmerkung-2020-07-16-172919.png 970w, https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/files\/2020\/07\/Anmerkung-2020-07-16-172919-300x149.png 300w, https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/files\/2020\/07\/Anmerkung-2020-07-16-172919-768x382.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 485px) 100vw, 485px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The two pointed to their work  on developing <a href=\"https:\/\/sozialhelden.github.io\/a11yjson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">a11yjson<\/a>, a JSON based datamodel to describe accessibility information on the web. They plan to formalise this format using Linked Data and Semantic Web Technologies and a potential collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/\">W3C LBD CG<\/a> should focus on the linking to <a href=\"http:\/\/w3id.org\/bot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Building Topology Ontology (BOT)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The community group holds <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/lbd\/2020\/05\/11\/regular-meeting-schedule-of-group\/\">bi-weekly meetings<\/a> dedicated to topics on modelling data and information in the built environment.
