And there isn&#8217;t yet an tag for it. My proposal is a <em>&lt;pagination&gt;<\/em> tag, which makes it more semantic.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Currently, we are using <em>&lt;nav&gt;<\/em> but they is intended for some other purpose. Though pagination is navigation, it is a lot different from navigation in a web page. <em>&lt;pagination&gt;<\/em> can be used instead of <em>&lt;nav&gt;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I found a <a title=\"Semantic Pagination in HTML5\" href=\"https:\/\/gist.github.com\/viatropos\/1047815\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">gist<\/a> which shows how to semantically describe pagination and <a title=\"HTML5 Pagination Tag proposal\" href=\"https:\/\/gist.github.com\/erikroyall\/5661214\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">modified it<\/a> to use the <em>&lt;pagination&gt;<\/em> tag.
