There is no doubt we are just at the threshold of the fundamental changes in the automotive industry that is bringing new kind of cars (driverless and autonomous), redefine the way we use existing vehicles (connected cars) and in general make cars \u201cdigital\u201d.<\/p>\n
Gartner analyst, Thilo Koslowski, in his optimistic keynote “The Evolution of the Automobile” called this whole trend \u201cAutomobile Reinvented\u201d and this\u00a0sounds like a good\u00a0slogan for the whole trend !<\/p>\n
What that means for us ?<\/p>\n
A lot \u2013 we will soon need to incorporate new concepts into GAO creation process \u2013 concepts we did not even dream about in 2013 when we started it all ! These new concepts, that become important even in today\u2019s customer decisions (what kind of \u201cinfotainment\u201d or \u201cconnectivity\u201d my car will have? Will it\u00a0link to\u00a0my iPhone or Android phone?). For more technically oriented clients \u2013 what kind of \u201ctelematics\u201d will I get?<\/p>\n
We will have to think seriously about this new terminology building GAO and evolving expected auto.schema.org extension\u2026<\/p>\n
