{"id":27,"date":"2016-03-09T12:26:57","date_gmt":"2016-03-09T12:26:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/fibo\/?p=27"},"modified":"2016-03-09T12:26:57","modified_gmt":"2016-03-09T12:26:57","slug":"time-to-review-initial-proposals-for-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/fibo\/2016\/03\/09\/time-to-review-initial-proposals-for-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Time to review initial proposals for support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The next release of Schema.org is <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/schemaorg\/schemaorg\/issues\/911\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">starting to take shape<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the list of things for consideration is our \u00a0\u201cFinancial (FIBO) proposals for the core v<span class=\"js-issue-title\">ocabulary<\/span>\u201d for schema.org containing the basic types and properties related to financial products. \u00a0This was officially proposed as <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/schemaorg\/schemaorg\/pull\/965\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Pull Request (#965)<\/a> in the schemaorg repository.<\/p>\n<p>I invite you to review this proposal an submit, hopefully supportive, comments against the Pull Request. \u00a0The more support this proposal gets, the more likely it is to be accepted, laying the foundation for future more detailed FIBO extension proposals.<\/p>\n<p>An explanation of why you are supportive, and why it will improve\u00a0the markup of financial resources, would be good. \u00a0However a simple +1 would also be helpful.<\/p>\n<p>You can find the raw RDFa, a list of the proposed additions and changes, and examples <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/fibo\/wiki\/Main_Page\">listed in the wiki<\/a>. \u00a0Also they are visible at the <a href=\"http:\/\/sdo-fibo.appspot.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">sdo-fibo.appspot.com<\/a> test version of the vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The next release of Schema.org is starting to take shape.
