Multimedia technology topics include <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Speech_recognition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">speech recognition<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Electronic_Notetaking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">electronic notetaking<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Transcription_(linguistics)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">transcription<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Transcription_(software)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">software<\/a>, online video formats and tracks, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Closed_captioning#Online_video_streaming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">captioning<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Subtitle_(captioning)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">subtitles<\/a>, multiple devices and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Second_screen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">second screen<\/a> scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>During campaign seasons, for each election and for each ballot issue interesting and relevant to users, users can note content, news articles, webpages and multimedia content,\u00a0and can comment about content with their notes and\u00a0comments\u00a0later available for uses including review before voting. Users can do so, in a civic participation capacity, both during and between election campaign seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Software users can dynamically indicate specific topics interesting to\u00a0them and those topics can be of use in indexing, organizing and navigating their noted content. Users\u2019 notes can be navigable with multiple visualizations (e.g. topic-based and calendar-based).
