{"id":3,"date":"2020-03-04T07:09:08","date_gmt":"2020-03-04T07:09:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/did-kr\/2020\/03\/04\/call-for-participation-in-decentralized-identity-korean-community-group\/"},"modified":"2020-03-04T07:09:08","modified_gmt":"2020-03-04T07:09:08","slug":"call-for-participation-in-decentralized-identity-korean-community-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/did-kr\/2020\/03\/04\/call-for-participation-in-decentralized-identity-korean-community-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Participation in Decentralized Identity Korean Community Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"\/community\/did-kr\/\">Decentralized Identity Korean Community Group<\/a> has been launched:<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The mission of the Decentralized Identity Korean Community Group includes the following:<br \/>\n* to facilitate focused discussion in Korean of the Decentralized Identity &#8211; Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), Verifiable Credentials(VC) and of related specifications<br \/>\n* to gather comments and questions in Korean about those specifications<br \/>\n* to collect information about specific use cases in Korea for technologies defined in those specifications<br \/>\n* to report the results of its activities as a group back to the DID Working Group, the Verifiable Credentials Working Group and to the W3C membership and community<br \/>\n* to share an experience of DIDs &amp; VC best practice in the aspect of web app developer<br \/>\n* to share up to date information for Decentralized Identity (DIDs &amp; VC) industry including browser tech, web service, hybrid apps, dapps and extra.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In order to <a href=\"\/community\/did-kr\/join\">join the group<\/a>, you will need a <a href=\"\/accounts\/request\">W3C account<\/a>. Please note, however, that <a href=\"\/community\/about\/faq\/#is-w3c-membership-required-to-participate-in-a-community-or-business-group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">W3C Membership<\/a> is not required to join a Community Group.<\/p>\n<p>This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2020-03-03 by Do Hyoung Lim. The following people supported its creation: Do Hyoung Lim, Sooyoung Hyun, WonSuk Lee, Seungyun Lee, Kangchan Lee. W3C&#8217;s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.<\/p>\n<p>The group must now <a href=\"\/community\/about\/faq\/#how-do-we-choose-a-chair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">choose a chair<\/a>.
