Civism<\/u><\/strong><\/a> is itself a technology<\/u><\/a>, to be more precise it is the ultimate civilizing process<\/u><\/a> social technology<\/u><\/a> since ancient times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Civics<\/u><\/strong><\/a> is civism’s diplomatic technology<\/u><\/a> to establish the rule of law (RoL)<\/u><\/a> under civic studies<\/u><\/a>, civic culture<\/u><\/a>, and civic virtues<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Civic education<\/u><\/strong><\/a> is civics’s educational technology (EdTech)<\/u><\/a> to establish civic engagement<\/u><\/a> between citizens, grassroots civil movements, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), governments, international nongovernmental organizations (INGOs), and inter-governmental organizations (IGO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Civic technology (CivicTech)<\/u><\/strong><\/a> being under the civic responsibility<\/u><\/a> to help in the standardization<\/u><\/a> of civic education, civics, and civism; makes it inherently dependent to the establishment of proper open internet<\/u><\/a> digital public infrastructure (DPI)<\/u><\/a> public international law (PIL)<\/u><\/a> regulatory compliance<\/u><\/a> and their due legal technologies (LegalTechs)<\/u><\/a> and regulatory technologies (RegTechs)<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Civic data<\/u><\/strong><\/a> being a currency of data economy<\/u><\/a>, so requiring civic technologies (CivicTechs) fair trade<\/u><\/a>, regulatory economics<\/u><\/a>, and markets surveillance<\/u><\/a>, depend on its interoperability<\/u><\/a> which must be standardized under semantic web (SW)<\/u><\/a> semantic interoperability<\/u><\/a> interontological alignment<\/u><\/a> controlled vocabularies<\/u><\/a> ontology engineering<\/u><\/a>. The Open Source Semantic Web Ontology (OSSWO)<\/u><\/a> may be of assistance in this development secure operations (DevSecOps).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Civic statistics<\/u><\/strong><\/a> required for proper open governance<\/u><\/a> and open government<\/u><\/a> metrology<\/u><\/a> governmental technologies (GovTechs)<\/u><\/a> may also profit from how semantic web ontology can assist in the regulatory compliance of algorithms<\/u><\/a>, their supervised machine learning (ML)<\/u><\/a>, and unsupervised artificial intelligence (AI)<\/u><\/a> dependency analysis<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Civic Technology Community Group (CTCG)<\/u><\/strong><\/a> is, because all of that, another imprescindible World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)<\/u><\/a> open science<\/u><\/a> research group<\/u><\/a>. It is an honor to co-chair it. Please join us to develop free libre open source solutions (FLOSS) for e-democracy<\/u><\/a>, linked open vocabularies (LOVs)<\/u><\/a>, and public applications (PubApps)<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
