The Bibframe2Schema.org Community Group<\/a> has been launched:<\/p>\n The objective of the community group is: to facilitate a consensually agreed route for the conversion and\/or mapping of bibliographic data into Schema.org; building on the development, initiated by the Library of Congress, of the BIBFRAME 2.0 Linked Data vocabulary; utilising the specifications of BIBFRAME 2.0 as a stable base to develop upon.<\/p>\n The initial objectives of the community are: In order to join the group<\/a>, you will need a W3C account<\/a>. Please note, however, that W3C Membership<\/a> is not required to join a Community Group.<\/p>\n This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2018-12-03 by Richard Wallis. The following people supported its creation: Richard Wallis, Stephan Schindehette, Lars G. Svensson, Mikl\u00f3s Hubay, Ivan Herman. W3C’s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.<\/p>\n The group must now choose a chair<\/a>.
