{"id":58,"date":"2015-12-17T10:22:26","date_gmt":"2015-12-17T10:22:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/bde-transport\/?p=58"},"modified":"2015-12-17T10:22:26","modified_gmt":"2015-12-17T10:22:26","slug":"wearing-the-mobility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/bde-transport\/2015\/12\/17\/wearing-the-mobility\/","title":{"rendered":"Wearing the mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>I am what I wear<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The fit bit craze isn\u2019t wearing off, quite the contrary: smart <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bragi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">earplugs<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wearewearables.com\/blog\/2015\/2\/2\/ls43a5gdzz2ykgg5wbnb4fizh7h3v2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">earrings<\/a>, or more conventional watches and glasses \u00a0are making their way into our daily routines with less resistance by the day.\u00a0 Until recently though, an overwhelming majority of these devices was associated with health and fitness. So what does this have to do with transport? Quite a bit; and a bit more in the years to come.<\/p>\n<p>As much as we like to accessorize ourselves though, we won\u2019t necessarily start wearing a new ring to ease the traffic management centre\u2019s daily hustle. They need to provide us with some value or else it\u2019s doomed to fail.
