{"id":3,"date":"2015-04-18T17:47:51","date_gmt":"2015-04-18T17:47:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/bde-health\/?p=3"},"modified":"2015-04-18T17:47:51","modified_gmt":"2015-04-18T17:47:51","slug":"call-for-participation-in-bde-health-demographic-change-and-wellbeing-community-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/community\/bde-health\/2015\/04\/18\/call-for-participation-in-bde-health-demographic-change-and-wellbeing-community-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Participation in BDE-Health, demographic change and wellbeing Community Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"\/community\/bde-health\/\">BDE-Health, demographic change and wellbeing Community Group<\/a> has been launched:<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>This is one of 7 Community Groups established under the <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.big-data-europe.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">BigDataEurope Project<\/a>, a Coordination and Support Action under the European Union\u2019s Horizon 2020 Programme, each one tailored to a specific <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/horizon2020\/en\/h2020-section\/societal-challenges\" target=\"_blank\">Societal Challenge<\/a>. The discussions in this group will be used to design and realise the ICT infrastructure needed to benefit from big data technologies, maximising the opportunities of the latest European RTD developments, including multilingual data harvesting, data analytics, and data visualisation.<\/p>\n<p>This Community Group is specifically interested in the Health, demographic change and wellbeing challenge and is lead by the <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"\/\/www.openphacts.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Open Phacts Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In order to <a href=\"\/community\/bde-health\/join\">join the group<\/a>, you will need a <a href=\"\/accounts\/request\">W3C account<\/a>. Please note, however, that <a href=\"\/community\/about\/faq\/#is-w3c-membership-required-to-participate-in-a-community-or-business-group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">W3C Membership<\/a> is not required to join a Community Group.<\/p>\n<p>This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2015-04-17 by Phil Archer. The following people supported its creation: Phil Archer, Vangelis Karkaletsis, Bryn Williams-Jones, Victor de Boer, Guus Schreiber, Martin Kaltenb\u00f6ck, Rigo Wenning.
