There will be\u00a0five discussion groups around the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Group 1.- Assess and find ways to increase participation from universities, government and research organizations in the Agricultural sector worldwide<\/strong>, chaired by Imma Subirats (FAO of the UN, Italy)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 2.- Institutional issues: how to get policies on openness and good data management adopted and implemented?<\/strong>, chaired by Hugo Besemer (Wageningen University, The Netherlands)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 3.- Increase data access and availability (formats, users)<\/strong>, chaired by Cyril Pommier (INRA, France)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 4.- Interoperability (policies, tools, taxonomies, standards)<\/strong>, chaired by Valeria Pesce (GFAR, Italy)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 5.- \u00a0Soil Data Working Group<\/strong>, chaired by Pandi Zdruli (Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari, Italy) and Devika Madalli (ISI, India)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The conclusions of this pre-meeting will be brought to the <strong>6<sup>th<\/sup> RDA Plenary<\/strong> Session IGAD Meeting during the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rd-alliance.org\/ig-agriculture-data-interest-group-igad-p6-meeting-session.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Agricultural Data Interest Group Session<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0on 25 September by the chairs of each discussion group.
