The mission of the Agent Trust Protocol (ATP) Community Group is to address this gap by producing open specifications that fill the Security and Privacy modules described by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/groups\/cg\/agentprotocol\/\">AI Agent Protocol Community Group<\/a>, modules currently marked as pending community contribution.<\/p>\n\n<p>This group will create Specifications for:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>the \u2009did:atp\u2009 quantum-safe DID method (hybrid Ed25519 + ML-DSA-65 post-quantum signatures)<\/li>\n<li>an agent trust scoring model backed by W3C Verifiable Credentials<\/li>\n<li>privacy-first interaction mechanisms including pairwise DIDs, selective disclosure, and zero-knowledge proofs<\/li>\n<li>a conformance test suite to drive interoperability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This Community Group was formed at the invitation of the AI Agent Protocol CG Chairs and intends to collaborate with that group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to <a href=\"\/community\/atp\/join\">join the group<\/a>, you will need\n    a <a\n            href=\"\/account\/request\/\">W3C account<\/a>. Please note, however, that <a\n            href=\"\/community\/about\/faq\/#is-w3c-membership-required-to-participate-in-a-community-or-business-group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">W3C\n        Membership<\/a> is not required to join a Community Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2026-06-04 by\n    Larry Lewis. The following people supported its creation: Larry Lewis, Venkata Vemuri, MT Monique LaCour, Samuel Denard and Robb Teneo.\n    W3C&#8217;s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group must now <a href=\"\/community\/about\/faq\/#how-do-we-choose-a-chair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">choose a chair<\/a>.
