This page is intended to collect ideas for group activities. We don't want to constrain thinking too much at this early stage, but bear in mind that activities should contribute towards the groups goals, as defined in the Group Project Charter.

  • Define how online learning design specifications, standards, and best practices are, or might be, different from web design specifications, standards, and best practices
  • Learn about and define the desired online learning future state for people with disabilities
  • Inventory W3C resources that are considered relevant, or can be relevant, for accessible online learning
  • Identify which W3C technologies, standards, and best practices fall short in meeting user needs
  • Identify which emerging technologies, standards, and best practices need attention from the AccessLearn Community Group
  • Develop recommendations for filling gaps to accessible online learning
  • Define a process for communicating group recommendations to relevant Working Groups
  • Define a conceptual framework or classification to organize recommendations, technologies, standards, best practices and resources related with accessible online learnig.
