Guideline changes
- New Guideline: Keyboard access (Guideline 2). Constructed from
existing checkpoints.
Checkpoint changes
- 2.2, 2.3 - documentation of keyboard config. Now priority 1 as per
30 June teleconference.
- 2.5 - turn on/off author-specified keyboard configs. Added after
23 June teleconference.
- 2.7 - default keyboard configuration. Added as per
7 July teleconference.
- 3.2 - document user agent functionalities. Added after
30 June teleconference.
- 4.1 - profile configuration. Added note about selecting
from available profiles as per
7 July teleconference.
- 4.2 - configure visual layout of user interface controls. Added after
30 June teleconference.
- 5.13 Wording of checkpoint changed as per Harvey Bingham
suggestion.
- 8.4 navigate active elements. This checkpoint combines
former 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6. Refer to
Proposal from Ian and following comments.
- 8.5 search for text content. Now includes alternative text
content explicitly.
- 8.6 navigate document structure. Added after
30 June teleconference. Deleted document tree navigation at
same time and moved to techniques.
- 8.7 - configuration of navigation. Formerly 2.4
- 9.10, 9.11, 9.16, and 9.17 now talk about link targets,
not A element instances.
- 9.25 - software consistency. Added as per
7 July teleconference.
- 10.1 - provide information about document changes. No longer
specific to script. Now priority 1. As per
30 June teleconference.
- 10.2 - configure notification of document changes. Added as per
30 June teleconference.
- 12.1, 12.2, and 12.3 now for all user agents. Decided at
23 June teleconference.
