I am interested in general in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and specifically in the accessibility of information systems. I am working at the moment in many projects to create adaptive and context-sensitive information systems that adapt their user interfaces according to user needs and context of usage. Adaptive information systems need extra sources of information (e.g. user profile and preferences, device characteristics, body signals etc.) rather than traditional information systems. User modelling is one of the main research areas that promise to allow meaningful adaptivity of information systems to user needs. I am working as well on the development of affective information systems, which are aware of the stress level of their users, such systems will allow to improve the quality of life of the user especially when it comes to persons, who have communication difficulties.
