Starting from the human body system, inside HAM the most common user groups having various types of disabilities are defined. These user groups are associated with the corresponding ICF body structures. The interaction limitations and the assistive technologies related to each user group are also defined and correlated with the corresponging design guidelines. Finally, a set of assessment rules are defined for each design guideline. As the VERITAS virtual user model describes user's interaction limitations as well as the assistive technologies used by the specific user, the linkage between the VERITAS VUM and HAM is straightforward.
