History of changes to WAI-ARIA Roadmap

This document tracks changes made to public working drafts of the Roadmap for Accessible Rich Internet Applications.

19 October 2007

Publication of the 19 October 2007 Public Working Draft. Changes:

• Added information about supporting HTML 4 and 5 in addition to XHTML based markup
• Moved gap analysis table to an appendix and added information about HTML 5
• Expanded to describe the purpose of the other ARIA specifications to make it better understood by the broader population
• Updated timeline
• Modified section on landmarks to reflect the use of ARIA role landmarks instead of XHTML landmarks

• Updated the Timeline section to reflect the new charter milestones.
