Image ARIA support data

This page is collecting data on existing accessibility support for aria-label and aria-labelledby for images. This is not comprehensive, but is intended to help understand the level of accessibility support.

People were requested to review an ARIA image test page and report back what they were able to access and what tools they used.

NVDA Yes, aria-label and -labelledby have been supported in FF since FF introduced support for the attributes (NVDA 2011.2 in August 2011). In IE these are not yet honored. They will be honored in NVDA 2014.2 (planned for May 2014).
