Talk:WCAG Overview Revision Draft with Comments

From Education & Outreach

Suzette: The section 'What is in WCAG 2.0'needs a better opening sentence. I had a look at the introduction of WCAG 2.0 for inspiration, there is a risk of becoming circular because after the list of supporting documents it cross references to the WCAG Overview document.

I have tried to combine the relevant elements of WCAG 2.0 and the Overview to make a revised version - then I edited it a bit more when I put it into the "page' tab view:

What is in WCAG 2.0

The WCAG 2.0 is designed to meet the needs of those who need a stable, referenceable technical standard. There are 12 accessibility guidelines that are organized under 4 principles: perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. For each guideline, there are testable success criteria, which are at three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.
