Feedback for Short Term Website Accessibility Improvements

  • Resource Name
    • [Brent's notes] "Short Term" means something that is outdated quickly, a length of time - Would rather use something like you would see in a phone manual documentation like "Quickstart Guide." Something quick to help with Web Accessibility knowing the bigger, longer manual is available in a different place.
  • Understanding the Basics section
    • [Brent's notes] Leave in current location on the page, but needs more information. Make this section more personable. Add 3 or 4 personas to help people understand the issues.
  • Explore the Issues section
    • [Brent's notes] Add questions to segue to the easychecks.
      • Q) Can someone navigate your site without a mouse or trackpad?
      • Q) Will someone using a screen reader understand the meaning and purpose of the images on your web site?
  • Define your Scope section
    • [Brent's notes] As part of this process add define accessibility documentation. How to get started defining your VPAT or other documentation needed for explaining the accessibility of the site or product.
