Localization of WCAG 1.0 1.0
in French, German, Norwegian, Italian, Swedish

In May 1999, the W3C released Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG) which is the foundation document for Web Accessibility. The normative document is in English.

As of July 1999, the following localization/translations have been completed:

• French,
• German,
• Norwegian,
• Italian,
• Swedish.
