Description:
Does HTML have “native host language text alternative element or attribute”? Perhaps this is just the <label> element? Is there a list someplace? It was not clear from the HTML-AAM.

Related notes:

Using the information here as a baseline for “native markup attribute or element” definitions:
http://www.w3.org/TR/html-aam-1.0/#accessible-name-and-description-calculation
This list is incomplete and might also conflict with the algorithm. I don’t think it is the right guideline and the full set of native attributes and elements that define text alternative needs to be spec’d out.

The HTML AAM now defines native host language labels and attributes for each element used to compute the text alternative for that element in HTML. We can make this clearer but the HTML AAM is now very prescriptive.
