Description:
I know there's a sentence in the Text Alternative Calculation section that covers this, but it caused confusion for one of our devs. Can we add the term "text alternative" to the glossary and describe how it relates to name and description there?

Related notes:

It is agreed that we should create a new term. The term would be:
Text Alternative: A perceivable label or description for alternative presentations of an accessible object in the form of a flat string of space separated textual tokens.

That said, given that terms are used by all ARIA specs. it would also impact the ARIA 1.1 specification for which no concern about that term has been raised. So, we will address introducing this new term in ARIA 1.2 and the corresponding accname and description.

All 1.2 issues and actions for accname are listed under the ARIA 2.0 name computation product.
