HTML 4.0 Working Draft Release

The HTML 4.0 W3C Working Draft is available in the following formats:

• straight HTML on line,
• a plain text file (~500Kb),
• HTML as a gzip'ed tar file (~200Kb),
• HTML as a zip file (~248Kb) - this is a '.zip' file not an '.exe',
• as well as a postscript (~2.4Mb), and a PDF (~1.5Mb) file (about 260 pages).

In addition, you'll find the DTD and its related SGML files at the following places:

• HTML4.dtd
• HTML4.decl
• HTMLmisc.ent
• HTMLsym.ent
• ISOlat1.ent
• HTML4.cat - sample catalog

We also plan to provide translations in other languages, although the English version provides the normative specification.
