Running Metalog

Windows

If you have installed Metalog using the automatic installer, you can run Metalog by either clicking on the Metalog icon that should be present on your Desktop, or by using the Windows Start Menu: inside the "Programs" group, there should be a group called "Metalog v2.0b", and from there you can launch the program. If you have neither the Desktop icon nor the Start Menu group, it means that you have installed Metalog using the "Don't create any icons" option. In this case, to run Metalog you have to go to the directory where you installed it, and double click on "metalog.exe".

In case you are using the source code distribution, you need to go into the directory where you unzipped Metalog, and double click the file "metalog.py"

Linux

You can launch Metalog by going into the directory where you unzipped the Metalog distribution, and then launching the file "metalog.py" using Python (for example, if the Python directory is in your PATH, you can use the command "python metalog.py").
