The June Face to Face meeting of the QA Working
Group will take place on Tuesday through Thursday, June 15, 16, and
17 on the Sun Microsystems campus
in Santa Clara, California.
The campus is bounded by Lafayette St, Agnew Rd, and Montague Expressway. The main entrance to the campus is Palm Drive, off Lafayette St. ( Use "Palm Drive, Santa Clara, CA" as the address when consulting online mapping services.) We will meet in the library of the Director's Mansion, which is Building 7 on the attached campus map.
Sun's Santa Clara campus is 4 miles from San Jose International Airport (SJC), and 32 miles from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Use SJC if you have the option to do so.
1a. From San Jose airport, take 101 North (towards
San Francisco)
1b. From San Francisco airport, take 101 South (towards San
Jose)
2. Take Montague Expressway exit towards Agnew Center
3. Take the ramp to Lafayette Street and turn right
4. Turn right on Palm Drive, onto the campus
5. The mansion is towards the left - park wherever you see
others parking
If you fly into San Jose, take a taxi (the campus is only 4 miles from the airport). The taxi fare from San Francisco airport is expensive (about $75). It's possible, but not especially convenient, to travel to Sun by train. Take a shuttle-bus to the Millbrae Caltrain station, then a one-hour train ride to Santa Clara, where you will need to call for a taxi to take you the remaining two miles to the campus (or your hotel). Ask for more information if you want to take this option.
