Pipe Organ kits

Among my goals in life is to build a pipe organ. Speakers don't really do justice to organ music, and pipes also look much better. Since I'm not an organist myself I'd like to have an computer-controlled instrument so that I could find fuges on the Web. Here are links I've found to organ kits and related resources:

• The Springwood Mechanical Parlour Organ is a nice little organ which has a MIDI interface.
• Lark in the Morning offers a 2' Portative Organ Kit.
• Generalmusic's Ahlborn division offers a pipe organ with 4 stops and a MIDI interface.
• The Early Music Shop has a 2' portative organ kit.
• Visscher Associates Pipe Organs has built several residence organs and can also provide organ kits.
• MD Musicom, a British company, has all parts needed. Normally they only supply known organ builders, but might be able to help amateurs if reasonably competent in electronics.
• Classic Organ Works provide pipe organ control systems (with MIDI) to organ builders, both professional and amateur. Also, you can download the OrganWorks organ design and documentation program (for Windows).
• Artisan Intstruments makes pipe organ control systems.
• Peterson makes control systems and electroc valves for pipe organs.
• Organ Supply Industries has lots of parts, but sell only to "qualified buyers".
