Interoperability also will require:
Conventions about how to specify metadata schemas (semantics and structure)
- a language for expressing metadata property types (and possible constraints)
Publicly accessible registries of metadata element sets, and policies to manage them
Initial solutions to these problems are under development in the RDF Schema working group
